Business Development Specialist - Inside Sales

M&C Associates is looking for a talented and competitive Business Development Specialist that thrives in an extended sales cycle environment.  The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making many calls per day and qualifying prospects to pass to Sales Executives and fill the pipeline. Our business is in Telecom, providing top-notch support and solutions for Avaya, Genesys, and Legacy Nortel product lines. Responsibilities

This role is responsible for lead generation, inside sales and bridging the gap between our Marketing and Sales teams.

  • -  Source new sales B2B opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • -  Work in and build upon Campaigns for different groups of prospects, including Email and Voice communications
  • -  Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • -  Research potential opportunity, identify key players and generate interest
  • -  "Get the appointment" and achieve regular quotas
  • -  Objection handling, trial closing, closing business
  • -  Understand customer needs and requirements
  • -  Maintain and expand the M&C database of prospects using Nutshell CRM

  • Requirements
  • -  3-5 years Inside Sales and/or Business Development experience for B2B
  • -  Motivation for Sales, track record of over-achieving quota
  • -  Experience with Objection Handling and Trial Closing
  • -  Telecom/Technology experience a plus
  • -  Experience working with Nutshell.com, SalesForce or similar CRM
  • -  Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • -  Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • -  Excellent verbal and written communications skills, Strong listening and presentation skills
  • -  Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and multi-task
  • -  Relationship Building, People Skills, Professionalism
  • -  BA/BS degree or equivalent required, Major in Business/Communications/Sales/Management a plus
