M&C delivers high-quality training courses for Nortel/Periphonics MPS and VPS platforms. Training classes can be delivered at our location, or yours, providing you with a cost effective means of enhancing the skills of your employees.
In most cases, M&C can deliver on-site training classes within two to four weeks of contract. We also offer scheduled training classes at our corporate headquarters office on Long Island, NY. Whatever location you choose, we deliver the highest quality workshops.
System Administration - MPS 500
The M&C MPS System Administration course is designed for staff who are responsible for the daily operation and monitoring of Avaya (Nortel) MPS 500 systems. At the end of this three day workshop, students will be able to effectively monitor, start up and shut down their MPS system(s) when required. The workshop also includes how to back up system hard drives, start, stop and monitor applications, monitor external resources and work with system vocabularies. There are no prerequisites for this course, which can be delivered at your location or ours.

MPS Developer (PeriProducer) Application Development - MPS 500
The M&C application development course is designed for staff who are responsible for developing and maintaining voice applications on Avaya (Nortel) MPS 500 systems. At the end of this four day course, students will be competent at creating new IVR programs and modifying existing programs. The course covers everything necessary to build programs, including creating subroutines, passing parameters, generating alarms, interfacing to host screens and debugging.

VoiceXML 2.0 Application Development
The M&C VoiceXML 2.0 application development course is designed for experienced software developers who want to learn VoiceXML. Upon completion of the workshop, students will be ready to develop applications written in VoiceXML, including speech recognition and text-to-speech. The class is totally devoted to programming, with more then half of the 4-day class time spent developing VoiceXML applications. Class topics include dialogs, ECMA scripting [JavaScript], speech recognition grammars and dynamic VoiceXML.
